Toshiba TC58NVG4S2ELA48 – 16Gbit NAND IC

These are genuine Toshiba TC58NVG4S2ELA48 16Gbit NAND flash chips, carefully removed from damaged FCARD-03 Nintendo 3DS factory cartridges. Each chip has been securely erased, reprogrammed, and fully tested using custom-built tools.

This NAND IC contains essential low-level data used by the custom MEGACHIPS IC to identify the cartridge and manage bad block handling. A small factory tool has been left programmed onto the chip to ensure it functions correctly when transplanted to a compatible board.

Each chip has been:

• Tested in a custom-built test cartridge
• Verified to boot and operate correctly in both a Nintendo Dev Kit and retail 3DS console
• Fully reballed and is ready for installation

Please note:

• The test cartridge with the socketed NAND IC shown in the photos is not included—it is shown for demonstration purposes only to illustrate how each chip is verified.
• These chips will show scratches or wear on the underside due to the removal of underfill and extensive cleaning required for reballing. This is cosmetic only and does not affect function. There may still be some residue of the underfill on the IC.

These components are extremely hard to source and are available in very limited quantities.
